We're a infertility center working in this field since 1985. Nowadays we have the biggest egg donation program in Spain, with no waiting list and more than 400 donors available for our patients. Our work allows us to affirm that more than 93% of our patients achieved pregnancy in our Center and to offer a 64% pregnancy rate on every attempt of egg-donation transfering two embryos. The increasing demand from foreign couples has led us to develop a strong international program which currently positions Institute Marqués as one of the top IVF clinics worldwide. The strength of our international program, in addition to the high quality of care and excellent IVF results, relies on the fact that Spain has one of the most advanced assisted reproduction legislation in Europe. The recent legislation approved by the Spanish Parliament in May 2006 no longer limits the number of oocytes to be inseminated and allows for egg and semen donation in all women who may wish to do so, regardless of marital status and sexual orientation. Unlike other countries in Europe, egg and semen donation in Spain is anonymous and, therefore, the identity of the donor can never be revealed. Instituto Marqués is a leading assisted reproduction referral center in Europe. Therefore, a high percentage of patients that are seen at our Center usually have had multiple IVF failures in other centers.
