Patrick Condon, MCh, FRCS is the medical director of Waterford Eye Specialists. His primary specialty is in cataract and refractive surgery, with secondary expertise in general ophthalmology. Mr Condon pioneered the development of LASIK in Ireland and the U.K. starting in Mater Hospital, Dublin, in 1994 with previous experience in ALK. He also pioneered the development of small incision phaco cataract surgery in Ireland - Regional Eye Department, Waterford. Mr Condon completed his undergraduate education at De La Salle College in Waterford and Clongowes Wood College in Naas, County Kildare, then went on to earn MCh and MB degrees from the National University of Ireland - Dublin.
