Dr. Gisela Contasti Bocco is Orthodontics: Graduated as a dentist from Facultad de Odontología de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (U.C.V.), in 1976. Later on she completed graduate studies in The University of Texas, Health Science Center at Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. in 1982. Ex-president of Sociedad Venezolana de Ortodoncia 1994-1996. Ex-Delegate of Asociación Latinoaméricana de Ortodoncia (ALADO). She has a practice limited to Orthodontics and she treats patients with orthodontic needs, orthognathic surgery, Distraction Osteogenesis, from teenager till adults in their sixties who require treatment to improve their dentofacial esthetics and function. She practice a multidisciplinary treatment with others specialists. She uses pre angled brackets with grooves 0,018". Currently she is a collaborator Professor of Orthodontics in Postgraduated Program at the Dental School of Universidad Central de Venezuela (U.C.V.), and she is a Professor of Dental Implants in Postgraduated Program at the Dental School of Universidad Santa María. Caracas. Venezuela. Has presented conferences in National and International Congresses on Dentistry.
