Uppal graduated with honours in 1998 from Guy’s Dental Hospital. After spending some time working at Guy’s Hospital, Uppal has spent the last 9 years in general practice. During this time she has also completed numerous postgraduate qualifications leading to specialist status. These included gaining Membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2000, Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2001. Uppal then completed a 2 year full-time post-graduate Masters programme in Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute, with Distinction in 2005, also being awarded the University College London Commemorative Prize in Fixed & Removable Prosthodontics in 2005. Following this she gained Membership in Restorative Dentistry (Prosthodontics), Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2006 and is now a registered specialist in Prosthodontics & special interests in implant dentistry. In addition to working in privae practice, Uppal is also a Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Prosthodontics at Eastman CPD centre of excellence, and is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry. Outside of dentistry, Uppal enjoys travel, cooking, reading & swimming. Uppal and Dipan have been married for 10 years and have a young son.

History: Dipan Graduated in 1998 from Guy’s Dental Hospital. He has predominantly spent the last ten years working in private general dental practice in the north west London area, always striving to achieve excellence in his field. Dipan provides a wide range of services to patients of all ages including cosmetic dentistry and tooth whitening, restoration of teeth with a variety of quality materials including white composite fillings, white inlays and onlays and porcelain crowns, bridges and veneers. He employs the use of Lab 39 in Harley Street, considered to be the top dental laboratory in the UK. Dipan is committed to regularly attending post-graduate courses in order to be at the forefront of the latest dental techniques and therefore offer a high quality and up-to-date service. In doing so, he has gained numerous qualifications including Membership to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, England in 2001, he completed a full-time post-graduate Masters degree in Conservative Dentistry at the world renowned Eastman Dental Institute, with Distinction in 2006. Dipan also gained the Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies after a 3 year programme at Bristol University in 2007. He is a Member of British Society of Restorative Dentistry and also is involved in part-time teaching at the Eastman CPD Centre of clinical excellence. Dipan’s areas of special interest include cosmetic dentistry and crown and bridge work as well as implant dentistry. In keeping with all the team at Dental Perfection he has a caring, sympathetic and calm manner. Dipan’s hobbies include travel, swimming, football and tennis.

Glen Karunanayake qualified from Guy’s dental hospital in 1992 and following a period of 10 years in general dental practice underwent postgraduate training in Endodontics at the internationally renowned Eastman Dental Institute. He gained a MSc with distinction in 2004 and subsequently was appointed a teaching role at King’s college. Glen currently teaches Endodontics at UCL and King’s college. He limits his practice solely to Endodontics and holds positions at St George’s hospital and two prestigious private practices. Glen is committed to providing a meticulous standard of advice and treatment in a kind and caring way.
