Mrs. Prells was trained as a dentist in Hanover, Germany. She qualified 1979. Since then she was working as a general dental practitioner in Hanover until 1998. She joined Mumbles Road Dental Practice in May 1998 as associate dentist.

Dr. Caycik graduated from the University of Istanbul in 1988 with a BDS. She gained British qualifications by passing the statutory exam in Manchester University in 1993 and went on to obtain a MScD in Prosthetics at the University of Wales, Cardiff. She then worked in Morriston Hospital in Maxillofacial Department as a clinical assistant specialising in Restorative dentistry. Dr. Caycik took over this practice in 1997 after working as an Associate in the Mumbles area for 4 years. The practice has been successfully run over 7 years now. Dr. Caycik's philosophy is to provide a high standard of dental care in friendly, relaxed surroundings. She places a great emphasis on preventative dentistry.
