Our business, which started over 20 years ago in 1986 with a staff of just 3 people, today employs 35 professionals and assistants: periodontists, odontologists, anaesthetists, dental hygienists and laboratory technicians, microsurgery assistants, radiodiagnostics technicians, certified nurses, IT experts and a valuable management and customer service team. Since its foundation, Clínica Sicilia has been renowned for its highly skilled professional team and innovative approach to dentistry. Our centre was one of the first in the country to apply microsurgical techniques, installing two complete microsurgical machines. In 2000, the clinics in our group became the first dental clinics nationwide to develop and obtain the standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001:2000 for quality management systems. We are pioneers in computer-guided surgery in our country: for the first time in Spain, we carried out dental implants surgery with a robotized navigation system (Robodent) and were the first Spanish clinic equipped with maxillofacial tomography computer. In our modern facility in the heart of Oviedo, we will keep working to continue as a benchmark centre for periodontal microsurgery and implantology in Europe.
