I was born in Stockholm. I was raised in Stockholm. I was educated in Stockholm. I still have a home in Stockholm. I love Stockholm! Therefore, when deciding on potential names for my clinic, it might not come as much of a surprise that "Stockholm Dental Clinic" rated first on my list.
I was educated at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden where I received my Dental Degree in 1975. For the next two years, I worked as a Dental Surgeon in Stockholm. In 1977, I went back to the Karolinska Institute to start my post-graduate studies to become a specialist in Dental Prosthetics (*). I received my specialist degree in 1982.
My first position as a specialist was in 1982, as a Consultant Prosthodontist in Luleå, in the northern part of Sweden. In 1984 I moved to Linköping, Sweden, where I also held a position as a Consultant Prosthodontist. I then moved to Västerås, west of Stockholm in 1985, where I worked at the Prosthetic Department at the Central Hospital for 9 years, as a Senior Consultant Prosthodontist.
In 1994 I moved overseas to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where I worked in private practise at the Swedish Medical Centre until October 2003. During my stay in Abu Dhabi, I established a clinic for dental implants within the Swedish Medical Centre, where we used the world leading Swedish implant system, the Nobel Biocare (Brånemark) system, the same implant system I have been using since 1982.
In November 2003, I opened the Stockholm Dental Clinic in Puerto Banus.
