Graduated from the medical department in 1988. In 1992 he gained a specialization in dental surgery. For 14 years he has been taking an active part in professional trainings concerning implantology, in different centers of the world: Boston, Hague, Goeteborg, London, Molndal, Las Vegas, Toulouse. In 1992, as one of the first doctors in Poland, he introduced a standard implant therapy. In 1994 he also initiated a maxilla sinus augmentation procedure. He is a recognized authority in the field of endodontics, dental surgery, implantology and an author of various publications on implantology. Since 1996, he has been leading the workshops and running the lectures, presenting his own methods of endodontic treatment. Endodontic treatment courses are recognized by doctors from the whole Poland. He is one of the founders of the Polish Endodontic Association. Dr R. Borczyk has been the principle of the dental practice since 1990, taking as his credo the following statement: "Endodontic therapy is a part and parcel of our everyday job. Root canal treatment can save a tooth from extraction, and this is what our patients usually need. A well endodontically treated tooth can provide a basis for a bridge and as it can serve for a few dozen years". Roman Borczyk is a fan of car rallies, diving and travelling. He participates in many interesting undertakings.

In 2001 I qualified from the Medical University of Silesia, Katowice. While studying, I spent two years at a University in Cologne. My professional interests focus on periodontology, a field of dentistry dealing with periodontal disorders. I try to be up to date on the modern treatment techniques by taking part in specialists courses in Poland and abroad. Thanks to this I have a possibility of gaining a theoretical and practical insight into modern treatment procedures. In R. and D. Borczyk Private Practice I am responsible for treating periodontal diseases, periodontal consultations, children's dentistry, teeth whitening and sedation. Apart from my job, I'm interested in: sport, music, photography. In my free time I also like mountain climbing.

I graduated from the "Piastów Slaskich" Wroclaw Medical University, where I was the Chairman of the Independent Students Union, a member of the Board of the Medical and Dentistry Faculty and a member of the Student Government. After graduation, apart from working as a dentist, I was a volunteer in the Maxillofacial Surgery Ward in the District Hospital in Racibórz. I am particularly interested in endodontics and dental surgery. I attend intensive courses and trainings to enhance my qualifications in the above-mentioned fields of medicine. In my every day work, I use the Carl Zeiss microscope as well as the state-of-the-art knowledge and equipment, including ozone, ultrasounds, radiovisiography, computed tomography and silver and gold nanoparticles. Apart from dentistry, I am a passionate mountain walker, keen on photography and automotive topics.
