Smiles at Vallarta is a dental office located at the heart of old town Puerto Vallarta- on the side of Banderios Bay. In Smiles at Vallarta we want to give the best dental service we can provide, so that you and your family obtain major safety on having smiled.

Hello, and welcome to our website and our practice. I have been a dentist in Puerto Vallarta for over 5 years, and have never been as excited about dentistry as I am now.

New technology, materials and techniques are continually being developed and today we can do things I never dreamed possible. The internet lets us share our profession, and learn from others all over the world, as well as all the great dentists in Puerto Vallarta.

Dr. Alberto Hernandez graduated from the University of Guadalajara of Dentistry in 1999. The U of G dental school has a long-standing reputation for graduating dentists with outstanding skills and knowledge.

After practising general dentistry for several years, Dr. Hernandez decided to put his artistic and creative talents in the pursuit of cosmetic dentistry.

It takes a special combination of skills and talents to solve the esthetic challenges that cosmetic dentistry presents, and Dr. Hernandez has found that his practical skills and passion for excellence give his patients the kind of results they expect.

Dr. Hernandez runs a professional office that is modern and clean. His kind "bed side" manners and his thorough explanation of procedures made me feel confident and comfortable. I had 13 crowns done by him - 3 visits over 1 week and left with a smile that I've longed for over 20 years.

Would you recommend the clinic?

I highly recommend Dr. Hernandez and his staff. Professional, state-of-the-art and located in the center of old city. Dr. Hernandez even offers accommodations for patients to stay in a private apartment during their visit.

Most everything I had done was excellent, but there was a small problem with the color of two veneers. I have been assured that they will be corrected at no additional charge if I can return to Puerto Vallarta for another week. I am considering returning to have additional work done, as well.

Dr. Hernandez was very personable and professional. His English is excellent and he does excellent work. His office is very small, but extremely clean and modern. I highly recommend Smiles at Vallarta!
