About Coral Dental Center
Coral Dental Center is the first specialized dental clinic in the Mayan Riviera. Our team of highly qualified professionals has the latest equipment and technology to provide an efficient, quality service in several dental specialties. OUR MISSION to offer quality specialized odontology at affordable prices to be the highest quality dental care center in the area, achieving continuous and sustainable development with a proudly Mexican professional team. to become a role model by providing new concepts in odontologic services. FACILITIES The facilities at Coral Dental Center are designed according to a concept that combines good ergonomics, hygiene and comfort in a pleasant atmosphere. At Coral Dental Center we are as concerned about your health as you are. That's why we have strict safety norms for the control of infections and we meet all standards of sterilization required by official health regulations. All instruments that resist high temperatures are sterilized through autoclave (vapor pressure) that kills infectious micro-organism such as bacteria and viruses. Instruments that do not resist high temperatures, such as plastics, are disinfected in a chemical solution that kills those same infectious micro-organisms. Many implements are disposable and are only used for one patient. This includes all needles and aspirators (the plastic straw placed in the mouth to suck up saliva). Gloves and masks are used to prevent disease transmission. Gloves are never used for more than one patient. All surfaces are disinfected with a chemical solution specially designed to kill bacteria, spores and viruses. Protection barriers (plastics, rubber drapes, etc) are used whenever possible. We constantly monitor our procedures in order to meet the OSHA infections control and the recommendations of American Dental Association.

Dental Implants
>> more
Implants are highly specialized titanium parts specially designed to replace one or more missing teeth. They are fitted in two stages: first, a short surgery to place the implant inside the bone. Then when it's rehabilitated, porcelain crowns are fitted to it. This method is currently the most recommended to have a tooth similar to a natural one.

Root Canals
>> more
Root canal therapy is made by cleaning and shaping the canal and later filling it with a special material before sealing it permanently. This treatment is recommended for severe cases of cavities in order to avoid removing the tooth. Endodontics is necessary in case of inflammation or infection of the pulp. There can be several causes for inflammation or infection: deep cavities, several dental procedures on the tooth or a fracture. A blow on the tooth can also damage the pulp even when there is no visible fracture or crack. If inflammation or infection of the pulp is not treated, it can cause pain or create an abscess. Signs of a damaged pulp include: pain, cold or heat sensitivity, changes in color, swelling and slight pain in the gums around the tooth. Sometimes, there can also be no symptoms.
Teeth Whitening
>> more
Tooth whitening treatments supervised by professionals have proved to change the teeth dramatically and result in a notably whiter color. The over-the-counter whitening products work differently from the professional systems to whiten teeth. The difference in shades can be far less visible. More importantly yet, even if some pharmacy products can whiten your teeth, only the teeth whitening treatments supervised by professionals have proven to be safe and effective for over ten years.
