About us:
Pasquale Demajo founded Drs. Demajo Dental Clinics in 1919. He travelled to Philadelphia (USA) in 1908 and learnt the trade of a dental technician and furthered his knowledge in the dental profession by assisting the high street dentists. On his return he was amongst the first registered Dentists in the Maltese islands.
Thirty odd years later, two of his children graduated in Dental Surgery at the Royal University of Malta. They furthered their training at Guy’sHospital (UK) and North Western University (USA) and specialised in Orthodontics and Prosthodontics. Together, both brothers established the first specialist dental clinic on the island. Dr Anthony Demajo married Appolonia, the daughter of another dentist: Anthony G.Ciappara. Their son, Pascal, continued the family tradition and graduated in 1971. He expanded the clinic facilities to incorporate a fully equipped Dental laboratory also servicing other dentists in Malta and Gozo.
In fact Drs Demajo Dental Clinics is the foremost practice on the islands with its own lab and to enjoy such on site facilities. Both Pascal’s children, namely Dr Michelle and Dr Jean Paul followed their two grandfathers’ and father’s footsteps and graduated in Malta and in London respectively.
Four years ago a second clinic was set up in Ta’ Xbiex and equipped with the latest state of the art dental equipment. Today the group practice includes four fully qualified Dental Surgeons, six Dental Nurses, and three full time Dental Technologists.
The clinic set-up is especially designed to put all patients at ease. The ambience at the clinic is a friendly one.We take great pride in converting anxious patients to keep regular appointments. Our ‘Injection free’ treatments like Ozone therapy sterilizes teeth and prevents caries. Treatment under sedation is also an option either at the clinic with the help of an anaesthetist or atone of the local private hospitals.
