Porcelain fused to an inner metal core. Thes offer good durability especially on back teeth but in some instances are too lifeless or opaque on front teeth. Gold crowns are made mainly of gold, with silver, platinum and other metals added for strength. They are the strongest of all crowns however due to their colour are usually only recomended for very back upper teeth.

Dental Bonding

Dental Checkup Typically € 50
A thorough examination is required prior to any treatment being undertaken. It is important to establish the level of dental health and investigate any problems for the long term success of any treatment. Like almost all serious health problems dental disease whether it is a cavity, gum disease or even more serious areas of abnormal tissue that may be cancerous are not painful until often it is too late to rectify with simple treatments such as fillings. Examination and early detection reduces the amount and complexity of treatments needed.X-rays if required are not included in the cost.

Dental Implants € 25000 - € 3500
Implants are ideal for replacing missing teeth. They are most similar to the natural teeth and depending on the amount and quality of bone they can be used to replace almost any tooth or multiple teeth. They normally involve several visits over a period of 3 -6 months, however their longevity if cared and maintained exceeds most alternative treatments.

Fillings € 80 - € 150
Fillings are used to restore cavities in teeth caused by various factors but primarily the digestion of sugary drinks and snacks.Only tooth coloured composite fillings are offered in our office. We believe amalgam fillings that contain mercury are no longer a necessary treatment choice. Although the risk to health is still being debated, when alternatives exist we feel their continued use is not justified in our clinic.

Gingivitis Treatment

Gum Surgery
Gum surgery can involve several differing areas of treatment. From laser gum recontouring for cosmetic reasons to the treatment os mild to advanced gum disease.8 out of 10 adults suffer from some degree of gum disease that is painless and commonly causes bleeding gums and often bad breathe. If left untreated the gum disease destroys the supporting structures around the teeth such as the bone and can eventually lead to the loss of teeth. More seriously, long term gum disease has been shown to cause more stress on the bodies immune system and is linked to an increased risk of heart attacks and stroke.Treatment often involveds non surgical approaches initially which we combine with laser therapy. Surgery is often saved as a last treatment option.

Veneers € 800 - € 950
Guaranteed for 5 years.veneers are thin laminates or facings that can be bonded to the front of natural teeth and in some cases existing crowns. they are made of porcelain and each veneer is individually hand made by a technician. We send all our permanent veneers to 2 laboratories in the USA or Canada for what we believe is their higher level of knowledge and skill in fabricating natural looking veneers.Porcelain veneers can be used for a wide variety of problems such as small teeth spacing or gaps stained or discoloured teeth crooked teeth. prominent teethThey require far less removal of tooth structure than crowns and so tend to be less invasive. With Lumineer veneers and the newer "Durathin Veneers" it can be possible to create a new smile without any tooth reshaping or drilling. That is because durathin veneers can be made as thin as 0.3 mm and so do not make the teeth any more prominent. These newer veneers now account for almost half the total number of veneers placed in the clinic. Please avail of our free cosmetic consultations if you would like to discuss the possibility of veneers or other cosmetic procedures.

Lumineers € 750 - € 950
Guaranteed for 5 years.Lumineer veneers like Durathin Veneers are made so thin that the normal requirement for the removal of some tooth structure is eliminated. Durathin and also lumineer veneers as thin as 0.3mm can now offer a new smile without any fear of drilling etc. They are ideal for: Stained, discoloured teeth Small teeth Spaces or gapsUnfortunately they alone can not treat crooked or prominent teeth without the normal tooth adjustments.
