Sopron is attractive city located close to the Austrian border. Many buildings survive from the town's long history, with city walls built on top of Roman foundations, and high gothic towers. I was surprised to discover that Lake Balaton, Heviz is a mainly German speaking area, as I was carrying a translation list in Hungarian. My landlady did not speak English at all! The people were very nice, & treatment was satisfactory. I had three implants done altogether, and plan to go back in Feb. 2008 for the crowns. I was surprised to find I could have paid my bill in UK £ as I had been advised to bring Euros. Most shops preferred Forints!
