Were you pleased with the treatment?

We chose Paseret Dental Clinic because their web site said they followed a particular procedure for removing amalgam fillings which included an alternative air supply. This is explained in great detail on http://www.pasaretdentaltour.com/en/customer-education. Since my wife has some immune issues, this was important to us. To verify that they used this procedure, we asked specifically about it in an email and in person before any work was done. However, when my wife sat in the chair to have the work done, no alternate air supply was provided and when she asked she was told it was not available! Since she had already had Xrays done, she went ahead with the work, and the dentist removed the amalgam and prepared the tooth for an inlay. Because the tooth appeared to have a crack, the dentist tried to take an xray, but since they were out of film she said it wouldn't be necessary. When my wife returned for the inlay, the tooth was painful, so the dentist consulted with another dentist in the clinic and determined my wife needed a root canal. My wife wanted to give it a little more time so we rescheduled the appointment for a few days later. When she arrived for that appointment, the tooth was still painful and without examination or xray, the dentist said she needed a root canal. We decided to get a 2nd opinion from another clinic where the dentist examined the tooth and adjusted the bite which gave my wife immediate relief although it did not completely alleviate the pain when chewing. The dentist suggested she give it some time to see if it would get better since xrays showed no root damage. A few weeks later the tooth healed and she had the work done at the 2nd clinic.

Would you recommend the clinic?

Even though I went ahead with my work while my wife was having these problems, I lost confidence in the clinic. The staff were pleasant and the office is modern and pleasant. And the prices are very good. Of course, we paid for an inlay that wasn't completed, but I guess that is to be expected.

Would you return for further treatment?

no, I don't think we would recommend this clinic or return to it. I still don't understand the communication problem about the alternate air supply and I rechecked the web site to make sure that it is still advertised, and it is. We had our work done last month.
