MB ChB FRCP Dr Murdoch is a consultant dermatologist on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register. He has been a consultant dermatologist in Shropshire since 2000. Until March 2005 Dr Murdoch worked both in private practice and for the NHS in Shrewsbury and Telford. For the past 2 years Dr Murdoch has worked purely in private practice. Dr Murdoch has a special interest in cosmetic dermatolology and aesthetic medicine treatments and runs the Shropshire Skin Clinic to provide a discrete and relaxed setting for clients seeking these services. He also has a particular interest in skin surgery, laser therapy and the management of skin cancer. He has wide experience in the assessment and management of all skin diseases including acne, rosacea, psoriasis and eczema.

RGN Gail qualified as a registered general nurse (RGN) at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 1991. She gained extensive experience working for 11 years on the oncology (cancer), medical and renal (kidney) wards at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. She worked as a staff nurse in the outpatient department at the Shropshire Nuffield Hospital between 2002 and 2005. Her interest in dermatology and cosmetic treatments developed whilst supporting consultant dermatologists and plastic surgeons working in the department.

RGN Sharon qualified as a registered general nurse (RGN) at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH) in 1979. In 1980 she completed the neonatal intensive care course at New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton and received the Dr. Everley Jones award for neonatal nursing in the West Midlands. She worked for five years in the Intensive Care Unit RSH, caring for critically ill adults and children. She gained extensive surgical experience over eight years at RSH, including participation in setting up and working in the first day surgery unit in Shrewsbury. From 1992 to 2000 she was a School Nursing Sister caring for the health of school aged children in North and subsequently South Shropshire. Between 2000 and 2002 she took a sabbatical to study law.
