In operation for over a century, the Brigstock Medical Practice in Surrey provides both NHS and private services. The practice is fully equipped to be accessible for those with disabilities. The practice has six partners and four associate doctors; in addition, they are a teaching practice, where fully qualified GPs preparing to open their own practices may spend a year as a Registrar. Through NHS, they offer nursing services, minor surgery, family planning, maternity care and baby care, a variety of health promotion services, a periodic medical check-ups. Services not covered by NHS offered by the practice include cosmetic laser treatment, travel advice and immunization, emigration medicals, and other non-NHS services.
