Dr Eithne Brenner, MB, BCh, BAO, MRCGP, MICGP, DCH, DRCOG, DFFP, GCM.

Eithne Brenner is the Medical Director and owner of  Faceworks. She is on the Specialist Medical Register at the Irish Medical Council. Dr Brenner is originally from Waterford City and obtained her Medical Degree with Honours in Psychiatry at University College Cork in 1989.

She interned at Cork University Hospital, and then completed 4 years Specialist Family Medicine training on the Cleveland Rotation. She then spent 10 years as a busy doctor in clinical practice in London prior to her return home to Waterford.

Dr Brenner has over 20 years post graduate experience. She has full GP training. She has a special interest in dermatology and cosmetic medicine. Dr Brenner is an ATLS and ACLS provider (Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support).

Dr Brenner writes weekly on health issues for the News & Star Newspaper in Waterford City and writes on Aesthetic issues and advances for the South East Weddings Magazine and other health publications. She discusses health topics on the first and third Mondays with Billy McCarthy on Deise Am, on WLR Fm radio in the South East.

Dr Marina Vasileva MD (Zaporozhye, Ukraine), MRCPI, DPDerm. (Cardiff), DME,DCH,CFP

Dr Marina Vasileva is originally Russian and has completed her medical training in Ireland. She has spent several years working in hospital and community settings in the South East of Ireland.Having combined her natural understanding and knowledge of Russian and Eastern European culture with years of living and practising in Ireland, she has become very well integrated into the increasingly diverse Irish life.

Dr Vasileva got her primary medical qualification with Honours from Zaporozhye State Medical University (Ukraine), and was awarded an MD (Doctorate of Medicine) after completing her postgraduate studies in Pathology in 1997. Her practical medical training has taken place in Ireland through the variety of rotational hospital jobs – Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology,Geriatric Medicine and Paediatrics. Since 2007 she has been working in medical centres in the South East.

Dr Vasileva has a special interest in Medical Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine, and has just completed a years study in Dermatology at Cardiff University.She holds Diplomas in Medicine for the Elderly, Child Health and a Certificate in Family Planning. She has been trained as ATLS and ACLS Provider (Advanced Trauma Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support). She is keenly working on advancing her skills in Minor Surgery. She is delighted to have joined the Clinic. Dr Vasileva is an active member of the local clubs and enjoys playing tennis and swimming.

Nurse Darina Lane

RGN. RN. PNC. NP. BSc Hons

Darina is an integral part of the Faceworks team. She is one of the few Nursing Practitioners in Ireland, and has over 20 years experience in healthcare. Darina offers an extremely high level of professionalism and personalised care. She is responsible for the clinical setting, standards and hygiene at Faceworks. Darina is a registered midwife and holds a Bsc Hons in health studies. She is Editor of the National Practice Nursing Magazine, a post she has held for the past 5 years and writes regularly for Newspapers and Magazines on health topics. As well as her role in Faceworks, Darina also runs Baby2B, which provides specialised group and personal ante natal classes.

Sarah Jackman

Faceworks Manager

Sarah is responsible for the day to day business side of Faceworks, and keeps the clinic running efficiently and smoothly. She is a qualified beautician, and has extensive knowledge of all treatments offered at Faceworks. Sarah is friendly and approachable and can provide phone and email answers to any Faceworks queries you may have.

Helen Barry - Practice Manager

Helen is the senior practice manager at Faceworks – she has over 17 years experience in medical practice management. Helen has worked in various management roles and holds a Diploma in Managing Human Resources. She is available if you have any comments or suggestions on Faceworks .

Rosemary Murphy - Administration

Rosemary is a valued member of the Faceworks team. She has spent several years working in the hairdressing and beauty business. She has extensive experience in customer relations. Rosemary is the Health & Safety representative for Faceworks and is involved in the Clinic management and in setting and maintaining clinical standards and client care in Faceworks. Rosemary is a friendly and approachable member of the Faceworks team and is happy to answer any queries that you may have

Rosina Lauri - Administration

Rosina is another valued and professional member of the Faceworks team. She worked for many years in London as a PA. She managed a Dental Practice in Ireland for a number of years. She has extensive experience in customer relations and is also happy to answer any queries that you may have.
