Address the signs of aging and tiredness in your face
Travelling for a brow lift is a rewarding way to fully enjoy the benefits of this rejuvenating procedure. All those creases that have accumulated over the years can be smoothed away by the time you return from your journey. Whatever the destination, talented, fully qualified surgeons are available to give you a new fresher look.
Members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons performed over 38,000 brow lifts in 2005, alone*.
An audit of members of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons revealed that brow lifts accounted for 3% of all cosmetic surgical procedures**.
Allow at least two weeks for the most visible after effects of the surgery to recede. Do not spend time in the sun following the procedure: ensure this is possible in the destination of your choice. Plan no strenuous activities while abroad.
Facelifts, eye brightening and browlifts all address signs of aging and tiredness in the face. Choose the right procedure to address your requirements. Your expectations may require a combination of procedures to achieve the desired effect.

Organizations
The Ministry of Health, Social and Family Affairs has overall responsibility for the quality and distribution of healthcare in Hungary.
The Hungarian Medical Chamber is the politically independant overseer of the profession in Hungary. Membership of the Medical Chamber is compulsory for doctors and the chamber through its regional branches maintains a register of all qualified doctors.
Continuing professional development is overseen by the Continuing Education Council.
The Association of Hungarian Medical Societies (AHMS) combines the aims and interests of its member societies to represent the medical profession in Hungary. Plastic Surgeons in Hungary will belong to the Hungarian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (a member society of the AHMS).
Education
Initial medical qualification falls under the remit of the Ministry of Education which regulates the 4 medical schools. Training takes 6 years. The Ministry of Health takes overall responsibility for postgraduate medical training and is aided in this by the advice of 'Institutes' which represent groupings of experts in relevant fields. Specialization such as in Plastic Surgery is obtained through a centrally regulated registrar system. Training in plastic surgery as a specialty (Plasztikai (égési) sebészet) requires a minimum period of 5 years. Continuing professional development is mandatory and is based on the accrual of Continuous Medical Education (CME) points. Failure to obtain the required numbers of CME points from accredited training programmes will lead to a suspension of the right to practice.
Complaints
The Medical Chamber has extensive powers over physicans and may fine, suspend or remove the right to practice. Patient complaints may be addressed to the chamber. Patients also retain the right to follow civil action through the courts.
