Biography

I was born in Piraeus on 7.9.1950. My father was Efstratios Voukidis a merchant from Sparti and my mother Evangelia from Smyrna, Asia Minor. My father was a qualified Electromechanical Engineer and my mother a literary person. She was the secretary to P. Delta from 1934 to 1940. Primary and secondary schooling was completed in Athens, immediately afterwards the continuing studies at the Athens University Medical School. I was married in 1993 to Thomais (Mitsie) Manika, a Greek-American who is a graduate of Business Studies from the American College and has been working since 1971 in the Management of the American Airlines DELTA.
