Dr Sheru George

Biography
Dr Sheru George is a senior NHS consultant dermatologist who established the Laser and Photodermatology services in Amersham’s award winning dermatology department. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of skin photosensitivity, and the use of lasers and other light sources for a wide range of skin problems. Working closely with local vascular surgeons, he offers a comprehensive approach to treatment of leg veins, including sclerotherapy and laser treatment. He has been involved in many clinical studies of Botox including treatment of frown lines and excess sweating (hyperhidrosis). Dr George is medical advisor to the Xeroderma Pigmentosum support group; a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, British Photodermatology Group and British Skin Laser Groups; and advisor to the Department of health on various dermatological issues.

Dr Maria Roest

Dr Roest is a Consultant Dermatologist based at St Peter's Hospital in North Surrey. She graduated from Bristol University in 1994 and began her dermatological training at St John's Institute of Dermatology in London before completing her specialist training in Amersham and Oxford. She is an experienced general dermatologist with an interest in hair & nail disorders, and also offers advanced surgical treatment of skin lesions and skin cancers.

Dr Orton is a consultant dermatologist who runs the internationally renowned Contact Dermatitis and Occupational Dermatitis service at Amersham Hospital. His service extends to the management of skin, food and respiratory allergies, and he works closely with dieticians to provide a seamless, one stop Allergy service. Dr Orton graduated from Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, London in 1988 and pursued a career in general medicine before deciding to specialise in Dermatology. Dr Orton is the medical advisor to the Latex support group and is an active member of the British Contact Dermatitis Society, European Society of Contact Dermatitis and the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

Dr Mansoor is a cosmetic surgeon, who has trained and worked with leading aesthetic surgeons in the United States, France and Germany. At the time of writing, he is the only doctor to have been certified by both European and American Boards for anti-ageing Medicine. Dr Mansoor is a member of the European and British societies for Aesthetic Medicine. He has worked at the Amersham Clinic since 1999 and specialises in facelifts, chemical peels, Botox injections and dermal fillers. He also lectures regularly at international meetings on cosmetic dermatology.
